Adopt-A-Minefield has launched The Farah Appeal, a campaign to raise mine action funds in honor of newly-named AAM Youth Ambassador. Farah, who lost her leg to a landmine ten years ago recently won ‘The Story of My Life’ competition,

“Afghanistan never won a medal at the Olympics; this will change in the next 6-10 years. We are investing in training arenas, sponsorships of the events, and Afghan Athletes. We sent the first female athlete in Athens 2004 in Afghanistan’s History.” CEO Handsonsite.

Mr. Wasiqi did compete at the 1996 Olympics, and got a full scholarship fort his BS and his Residency in United States. He is looking to compete at 2008 in Peking China, and 2012 in London UK. This is a personal goal and his 3 Olympics.
